A goof ring or trim ring is a thin, round or square piece of flat plastic that helps to cover gaps created by mis-cut holes in drywall ceiling applications. Installed by resting on top of the trim flange.

Description

Our custom square goof rings come ready-to-install in white or black and can be custom cut to size. They are .060″ thick plastic and are designed to cover gaps in over-sized or mis-cut holes in drywall ceiling applications, but can be used in a wide variety of applications. Most common applications are down lights, drop lights, recessed lights, can lights. Our custom goof plate outside diameters range from 2 inch, up to 16 inches and the inner dimensions of the custom goof plate sizes range from 0 inches (no hole) up to 15 inches. The wall thickness minimum is 1/2″, so the outside dimension must be at least 1″ larger than the inside dimension. The inside and outside corners have a standard radius of 1/4″. To change or remove the radius, select your options, choose “Get a quote”, and add your request to the Notes field.
